Fifth Grade

We are your ​ 5th grade teachers and we are so excited that you're here! For this 2023-2024 school year, we will be covering these core objectives below: 

In Science, your learner will explore Matter & Energy, Force & Motion, Earth & Space Science, and  Organisms & Environments.

This year in RLA we are going to work to refine our skills as fiction and nonfiction readers. Then we will work to incorporate those skills into our own writing.

This year in Social Studies we are focusing on US history and geography.

In math, we will be focusing on the following objectives: 

• Numerical  Representations and Relationships
• Computations and Algebraic
• Geometry and Measurement
• Data Analysis and Personal Financial Literacy
