VATRE & Bond 2024
The Rockwall ISD proposals before voters are two parts of a long-range plan. The bond will allow for more schools to be built. The VATRE will allow Rockwall ISD to increase compensation for educators, fund state requirements, including unfunded state mandates and allow the District to hire more teachers to meet the growing enrollment.

Six Rockwall ISD art students have been selected by the Texas Art Education Association to display their artwork in the 2024-2025 TASA/TASB txEDCON Exhibition this month.

Two Rockwall ISD high school students have been named 2025 National Merit Semifinalists. Congratulations to Rockwall High School senior Angela Williams and Rockwall-Heath High School senior Savannah Crocker.

Seventy-five Rockwall ISD high school students have earned national recognition from the College Board for their high performance on the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test or Advanced Placement Exams.

Rockwall ISD visual arts teachers earn TAEA District of Distinction Award. Only the top 5.5 percent of districts in the state earned this honor.
